ATHERTON TABLELANDS VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE
The Atherton Information Centre is located at the heart of the Tablelands region, surrounded by productive agricultural land and exceptional World Heritage listed National Parks, including volcanic crater lakes. A plethora of outdoor activities is available including wildlife spotting in the unique ‘Mabi’ rainforest, bushwalks and numerous road cycling trails. Consider mountain biking in the world class Atherton Forest Mountain bike Park or swimming, sailing and water skiing on Tinaroo Dam. A visit to the ‘must see’ heritage-listed Chinatown precinct – with the only timber and corrugated iron ‘Hou Wang’ temple (outside of China) is also a highlight.
