RATHDOWNEY VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE
The Rathdowney Visitor Information Centre is situated on the Mt. Lindesay Highway, 30klms south of Beaudesert and 25klms north of the New South Wales border. It is proudly housed in the old local Commercial Bank building. The staff members are volunteers who have an excellent knowledge of the area and its history. The Centre displays a wide range of travel brochures and sells local historical books, local crafts, produce, preserves and souvenirs. The Information Centre is complemented by an interesting Historical Museum.
